If you’re considering Vacation Bible School for your child, you may be wondering what to expect. For many families, VBS is one of the highlights of the summer—a place where kids can have fun, make friends, and learn about Jesus in a safe and welcoming environment.
At Bella Vista Assembly of God, our VBS is designed to give children three exciting evenings filled with fun, faith, and meaningful experiences that point them toward Christ.
❋ A Safe and Secure EnvironmentWe understand that nothing matters more than your child’s safety. That’s why we use secure check-in and check-out procedures to ensure every child is accounted for from the moment they arrive until they are picked up. Our volunteers work hard to create an environment where both kids and parents can feel comfortable and confident.
❋ Age-Appropriate ActivitiesChildren learn best when lessons and activities are designed specifically for their stage of life. Throughout VBS, preschool and grade-school children participate in age-appropriate groups and activities that help them engage, learn, and have fun alongside their peers.
❋ Christ-Centered TeachingWhile VBS is packed with games, activities, and excitement, our primary goal is to help children grow in their understanding of God’s love. Each evening includes engaging Bible lessons, worship, and practical teaching that helps kids discover who Jesus is and how much He cares for them.
❋ A Free Meal Every EveningWe know summer schedules can be busy. To help families, we provide a free meal for every child each evening. It’s one less thing for parents to worry about and helps ensure kids have the energy they need for a fun-filled night.
❋ We’d Love to Meet Your FamilyWhether your family attends church regularly, occasionally, or not at all, you are welcome at Bella Vista Assembly of God. Our hope is that your child leaves VBS with great memories, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of God’s love for them.
❋ A Caring Volunteer TeamOur VBS is led by a team of volunteers who genuinely love children and are passionate about helping them grow. Many of our volunteers serve year-round in children’s ministry and are committed to making every child feel welcomed, valued, and included.
❋ Completely FreeOne of the best things about VBS is that it is completely free. There is no cost to attend. We want every family in our community to have the opportunity to participate, regardless of their circumstances.
