Sherry is the single mother of her six year old daughter, Mikya.  She received her call to the ministry in 2004, a few months bfore her husband was diagnosed with cancer.  She will tell you that she tried to "put God on hold" but He enabled her to complete the certified level of ministry studies with the Assemblies of God and began ministering in her local church, Gravette First Assembly of God, during her husband's illness.

Shortly after his death in 2007, she began studying for the licensed level and received her ministry license in October, 2009.

In addition to being a single mother, and having a full-time job, she is the WMU Coordinator for Gravette First A/G, teaches an Adult New Converts Sunday School class and assist in the Girls MPact Friends class.

Quoting Sherry, "I am just trying to fulfill God's purpose in my life and love to share God's Word."
